WILLIAMSBURG — Local photographers will have a place to present their work and learn more about the art form in the new year.
From Jan. 12, 2022, to Feb. 4, 2022, the Williamsburg Contemporary Arts Center will host a special exhibition entitled “Photography Extravaganza”.
“It’s going to feature all different kinds of photography, styles, and techniques,” said Art Center Manager Michael Jones. “Artists can exhibit up to four pieces. We have been calling out to the artists right now to submit their work, and also we’re asking for people who are interested in holding demonstrations, presentations, classes, and workshops.”
The exhibit aims to teach visitors about the different techniques and tools used in the art form of photography. These events will be scheduled throughout the run of the show.
“We do have one photography iPhone class that is currently scheduled,” said Jones. “That is going to be on Sunday, January 26th at 1 p.m.”
The Williamsburg Contemporary Arts Center is accepting photographs and is seeking those interested in sharing their knowledge of photography with others.
Registration to participate in the event closes on Jan. 15, 2022.
