Sonya Marie Harrell, age 90, of Four Oaks, North Carolina, passed away on August 5, 2026. She was born on October 23, 1935, in Four Oaks, North Carolina, the daughter of Roy and Virginia Creech.
Sonya devoted 32 years of her life to C&P Telephone Company, where she retired as a supervisor. Known for her strong work ethic and caring leadership, she built lasting friendships and left a legacy of dedication and kindness.
She loved life’s simple joys—crocheting, dancing, loved flowers, traveling, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her warm smile, generous spirit, and nurturing heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Sonya was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Virginia Creech, her two Brothers Ronald Creech (Helen), Sonny Creech, (Mary) her four Sisters Juanita, Bessie, Gloria and Wanda.
Sonya is survived by her loving husband, Danny Harrell; son, Les Lozaw (LeaAnn) daughter Lori Webster, grandchildren, Lindsay, Lacy, Taylor, Hunter, Noah, Nicholas, great-grandchildren children Alex, Owen, Liam, Sophia, Isabelle, Addison and Beau; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Gospel Way Baptist Church in Sonya’s memory.
