Grayson Makai Conte, 21, passed away far too soon on Friday, July 24, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories that will forever be treasured.
Born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on December 9, 2004, Grayson lived life with an adventurous spirit, a contagious smile, and a heart that made everyone around him feel like family.
Whether he was riding his motorcycle, catching waves in the ocean, or simply spending time with the people he loved most, Grayson embraced every moment. He had a way of making ordinary days unforgettable with his quick wit, easygoing nature, and ability to make people laugh.
Those who knew Grayson will remember his unwavering loyalty, kind heart, and free spirit. He loved deeply, laughed often, and lived life on his own terms. His presence brought comfort, adventure, and joy to so many, and his memory will continue to live on through the countless stories shared by those who knew and loved him.
He will be lovingly remembered by his father, Larry (John) Conte II; his sister, Jenna Conte; and his niece, Saylor Helm. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Grayson was preceded in death by his mother, Regina Campbell; his grandparents, Kathleen and Robert Campbell, and Larry Conte; and his uncles, Kevin and Peter Campbell.
Though his time with us was far too short, Grayson reminded everyone around him to live boldly, find joy in the little things, and never take a single day for granted.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
