It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alisa Prillaman Johnson. Alisa passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 15, 2026. She is preceded in death by her mother Phyllis K. Bollinger, father Clarence A. Prillaman, grandparents Clarence and Virginia Prillaman, Eck and Jane Kingery.

Alisa is survived by her loving husband David B. Johnson, her beloved sons Tyler Johnson, Alex Johnson (Hannah Hogge), and Cole Johnson (Mackenzie) and three beautiful grandchildren Brody Johnson, Graylynn Johnson, and Haven Johnson. She was also an amazing sister to Amy Sotak (Bernie), brother Tony Shields, stepbrothers Lance Pridgen (Angelique), Ralph Bollinger (Rene), Brian Bollinger, Adam Bollinger, stepsister Cindy Davis (Scott), stepfather Jerry Bollinger, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

As a mother and grandmother, she was unwavering in her love and support. Alisa’s children, grandchildren and golden retrievers were her greatest source of joy! She took great pride in her family’s accomplishments and she was their biggest, consummate cheerleader!

Alisa was an amazing friend and had a rare gift of making everyone she met feel like family! She truly never met a stranger. She took great pride in maintaining lifelong friendships. Anyone that was lucky enough to call her a friend knew that they could always count on her to be there in good times and bad times.

Many friends will remember Alisa as a proud cheerleader at York High School and at Radford University where she brought her infectious enthusiasm, high energy and team spirit to every game!

Although Alisa is gone, her legacy of love, strength, selflessness and deep commitment to family will live on through her children and grandchildren.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, August 1st at 2:00PM-5:00PM at the Amoco Club located at 2421 Waterview Road, Yorktown, VA 23692 .

The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to one of Alisa’s favorite charities to include but not limited to any of the following:
