Thomas James Perkins, 29, of Williamsburg

Thomas James Perkins (Nelsen Funeral Home)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a man whose life was filled with curiosity, laughter, love.

Thomas had a passion for the things that made life interesting. Whether he was exploring the final frontier with Star Trek, watching his favorite retro Godzilla films, or listening to heavy metal songs you could bang your head to, he embraced the stories and music that inspired wonder, individuality, and imagination. He had a knack for finding the unique things in life and loved sharing those passions with the people around him.

One of his greatest connections was with his loyal dog, Penny. Though she left before him, the bond they shared was never forgotten. He carried her memory with him, and anyone who knew him knew how much she meant to him. It is comforting to imagine that they are together again.

He will be remembered for his quick wit, his kind heart, his loyalty to those he loved. He leaves behind family, friends, and countless memories that will continue to bring comfort and smiles in the years ahead.

May we honor his memory by embracing the things that bring us joy and staying true to ourselves through all of life’s ups and downs.

Thomas will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
