It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Esteban “Steve” Camas, who departed this world on July 3, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on November 11, 1955, in the Philippines, Steve was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Steve dedicated his life to his work as a sheet metal mechanic and in construction, where he was known for his skill and diligence. Outside of work, he found joy in undertaking house projects, watching movies, and cherishing moments spent over brunch with his family.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Teresita Schneck, and his parents, Claudia and Francisco Camas Sr.
Steve’s legacy lives on through his surviving family: his loving wife, Macrine Camas; his daughter, Tisha; his son, EJ; and his cherished grandson, Braxton. He is also survived by Fortunata and Bruce Cassidy, Francisco Camas Jr., Anaceta and Richard Gravelin, Alberto and Corinna Camas, Ramon Camas, Rolando and Mamerna Camas, and Maria Lolita and Jose Quintana, as well as many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
