Judith “Judy” Fusco, 88, of Williamsburg, Virginia, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026, in Williamsburg, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born and raised in New York as the oldest of five children, Judy carried a lifelong spirit of love, generosity, and devotion to her family. She had a remarkable gift for sewing and was a talented seamstress who lovingly created beautiful dresses, curtains, and pillows. She also found great joy in the kitchen, where she was known for her incredible cooking. An avid baker, Judy especially loved baking homemade pies and enjoyed making homemade wine. She was a wonderful hostess who welcomed everyone with open arms, making sure no one ever left her home hungry and that every glass was always full.

Above all else, Judy cherished her family. She loved them fiercely, celebrated every opportunity to bring them together, and created countless memories that will be treasured for generations.

Judy was preceded in death by her son, Michael Giampapa.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Nicholas Fusco; her daughter, Christine Wechsler; her son-in-law, Thomas Wechsler; her daughter-in-law, Kathy Giampapa; her stepchildren, Noreen Giannini, Nicholas Fusco, MaryEileen Bruballa, and Cathleen Hartill; her grandchildren, Joanne Moeller and her husband, Michael Moeller; Jake Wechsler and his wife, Juli Gutierrez; Joseph Wechsler and his wife, Sara; Brandi Broderick and her husband, John Broderick; and Joseph Giampapa. She also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren, Jazmine Moeller, Mya Moeller, Brayden Moeller, Natalie Wechsler, Katherine Wechsler, and Mackenzie Broderick.

Judy is also survived by her sisters, Dale Confrey and Jill Cardillo, and her brothers, Gary Dirocco and Jeff Dirocco, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Judy’s warmth, kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family touched everyone who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the traditions she created, the meals and baked goods she lovingly prepared, the beautiful things she crafted with her hands, and the countless lives she enriched with her love. She will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
