Ricardo Reyes, a devoted father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away on May 26, 2026, in Yorktown, Virginia, at the age of 60. Born on January 30, 1966, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, Ricardo lived a life filled with love, dedication, and a deep appreciation for the joys that life offers.

A man of many talents, Ricardo focused his craftsmanship on cabinet making, where his skill and hard work were evident in every piece he created. His attention to detail and commitment to his craft left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Ricardo’s interests were as diverse as they were passionate. He found joy in singing and listening to music, casting a line while fishing, swimming, and exploring new places through his travels. As a pigeon fancier, he appreciated the beauty and grace of these birds, while tequila tasting allowed him to connect with his cultural roots. A fervent fan of soccer and boxing, Ricardo enjoyed the thrill and camaraderie these sports provided.

He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, where he found solace and community.

Ricardo is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Staurofila Adame. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his surviving family: his daughter Natalie; his sons Axel, Ricardo, Uriel, and Aaron; his brothers Ramon, Jose Luis, and Hector; his sisters Angelica and Francisca; his granddaughter; his grandsons; and many extended family members and countless dear friends.

Ricardo will be laid to rest in his hometown of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, at a later date, where he will forever be surrounded by the land and people he loved.

Ricardo Reyes will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
