Cornelius (Neal) Colbert, Jr., of Williamsburg, VA, formerly of Newport News, VA, and Washington, D.C., passed away on May 30, 2026.
After 34 years of service, Neal retired from DC Public Schools and later worked at Christopher Newport University for 10 years, until his health declined in 2026.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Baptist Church, 1397 Penniman Road, Williamsburg, VA.
