Keith Marshall Rawlison, a devoted husband, father, brother, son and esteemed business owner, passed away on April 20, 2026, in Newport News, Virginia, at the age of 60. Born on October 5, 1965, in Manhattan, New York, Keith was a man of honor, intelligence, and unwavering loyalty.
Keith spent his formative years in Newport News, where he graduated from Denbigh High School in the class of 1984. He went on to earn an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Christopher Newport University, a testament to his keen intellect and dedication to learning.
A man of many talents, Keith was known for his ability to fix anything, a skill that served him well throughout his career. From 2005 to 2017, he owned a successful contracting business before embarking on a new venture as the proprietor of Best Shop Exchange Appliance Shop, which he ran with dedication and pride since 2017.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Keith was a man of diverse interests. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as fishing, gardening—particularly tending to his vegetable patch—and building model airplanes. An avid cook, he was especially fond of barbecuing, a passion he often shared with family and friends. It was through dancing, another of his cherished pastimes, that he met his beloved wife, Michelle, with whom he shared a loving marriage since 2010.
Keith is preceded in death by his father, John Rawlison. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his surviving family: his devoted wife, Michelle Rawlison; his children, Kirsten Rawlison, Jay Florentin, Nathaniel Florentin, and Patrick Rawlison; his mother, Patricia Rawlison; and his siblings, Mark Rawlison, John Rawlison, Stacey Rawlison, and Suzette Granger.
