Kenneth “Ken” Paul Theesfield, a cherished husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully in Chesapeake, Virginia. Born on April 15, 1944, in Illinois, Ken lived a life full of dedication, warmth, and passion.

Throughout his career, Ken served as a Store Director for Farm Fresh Grocery Store, where he was known for his exceptional leadership and commitment to both employees and customers. His professional life was marked by integrity and a strong work ethic.

Before embarking on his civilian career, Ken proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, demonstrating his unwavering dedication and patriotism.

Ken had a zest for life that extended beyond his professional achievements. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears Football team and the Chicago Cubs Baseball team, cheering on his beloved teams through thick and thin. In his leisure time, in his leisure time…Ken enjoyed fishing, blackjack and vanilla Blue Bell ice cream.

He is preceded in death by his father, August Henry Paul Theesfield, and his mother, Ruth Marjorie Theesfield. Ken leaves behind a loving family, including his devoted wife, Joni M. Baker, and his cherished step-son, Caleb Baker. He is also survived by his beloved children, Bill, Karen, and Stacey; grandchildren, Alex, Matthew and Samantha. Along with his sisters, Diana and Pamela Ken’s life was enriched by the enduring friendship of his best friends, Norman Schultz and Dennis Fuhr.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, services will be private. Ken will be remembered fondly by all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
