Michael Lewis Whitt, of Richmond, VA, passed away on April 4, 2026.
Michael was funny and fun to be around. He was always able to bring a smile to those nearby, and his kindness left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His legacy lives on in the memories he created and the lives he touched.
He was an avid sports fan. He loved to watch and study nearly any game. He enjoyed time on the river in West Point, VA and spent endless hours fishing on the family dock and playing his guitar.
He is survived by his mother, Linda Whitt, his father, Harry L. Whitt; his sisters, Ashley (Travis) Fullerton and Carrie Whitt Piatkowski; and his nephews, Eryk Piatkowski, Noah Piatkowski, Jay Fullerton, and Max Fullerton. He also leaves behind his great uncle, Harry Roy Whitt, his uncle and aunt, David and Nancy Whitt, and many dear friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Mary Susan Whitt, and his grandparents, Otis and Marion Kyger, and Walter and Mary Whitt.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
