Brenda Sue Holliday, born on May 26, 1950, in Salisbury, Maryland, peacefully departed this world on March 6, 2026, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at the age of 75 after a bravely fought battle with cancer. Her life, though touched by challenges, was a testament to resilience, love, and dedication to family.
Brenda’s journey through life was marked by her deep connection to the simple joys that brought warmth and beauty into her world. She found solace and satisfaction in crocheting, weaving intricate patterns that reflected the exquisite tapestry of her own life. Her flower garden was a sanctuary where she nurtured vibrant blooms, much like the way she tended to her loved ones, cultivating a family bound by love and strength.
Though she did not belong to a congregation, Brenda was a woman of unwavering faith, finding spirituality in the everyday miracles of life. Her greatest accomplishment was undoubtedly her role as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her legacy thrives in those she leaves behind—her daughter Holly; three sons, Robert Jr. (Debbie), Steven, and William; her cherished grandchildren, Steven Jr., Morgan, Jonathan and Carmen; great-grandchildren, Paisley, Colton, Adalinne, Ayla, Kayden and Maverick; along with a host of extended family members and friends who adored her.
Throughout her occasional work engagements, most notably as a presser at Ace Uniform in Maryland, Brenda displayed diligence and pride in her contributions. However, it was within the walls of her home that her true impact was felt, nurturing and guiding her family with a steadfast heart.
Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Robert V. Holliday, Sr. Together, they shaped a home filled with laughter, love, and enduring memories. She is also survived by her loving parents, Cleveland Phillip Robinson, Sr. and Eunice Estelle Miller.
In accordance with Brenda’s wishes, no formal services will be held. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved in the Albert G. Horton Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Although gone from our sight, we will cherish her memory forever, holding in our hearts the many gifts she shared with us during her lifetime.
May her soul find eternal peace, and her spirit continue to inspire us all.
