Patricia (Ann) Terry Walton Petersen, 86, went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 28, 2026. She was born in Campbell County, VA, the daughter of George W Terry Sr. and Lizzie Foster Terry.
She is predeceased by her most beloved husband Dallas Petersen; her parents; her beloved sisters Harriet Gaines, Christine Price, and Shirley Terry; two brothers Verble Terry and GW Terry Jr.; a beloved brother-in-Law Roger Terry; and treasured nephews Bobbie Terry and Melvin Walker.
She is survived by her beloved sons Lewis Walton, Jr. (Sherrie), Terry Walton (Marcia), Gary Petersen (Diana), Mike Petersen (Penny), six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and many cherished nieces and nephews. Ann was a long-time member of Central Baptist Church in Norfolk.
She retired after 38 years from First Virginia Bank (now Truist Bank). In her retirement years, she enjoyed volunteering in the gift shop at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center and spending time with family and friends. She loved to travel with her nieces Carole Walker, Sandra Vaive, and dear friend Gayle Sawyer.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the Central Baptist Church.
