Deborah Ann Deffendall, age 65, of King William County, Virginia entered eternal rest on January 28, 2026, following a short illness. She was a loving, caring, and giving person, giving of herself at any time.
She is survived by her mother, Dian Hughes; stepfather, Mel Hughes; two daughters, Nadine Roach and Shailyn Brewer, both of California; one brother, James Deffendall, also of California; two stepbrothers and one stepsister; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild; and a host of other relatives.
She was born in Willits California on August 17, 1960, and resided there until about fifteen years ago, when she moved to Virginia.
She was a member of Jerusalem Christian Church and was always available to help anyone in need. She loved doing yard work and was very helpful in caring for her parents.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Jerusalem Christian Church.
