Donna Jean Grubb, born on February 12, 1938, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, at Autumn Care of Chesapeake. She was 87 years old.
Donna was the youngest of twelve children born to Klemens and Sophia Yaskowitz.
For twenty years, Donna dedicated herself as a cafeteria worker for the Virginia Beach public schools. In her leisure time, Donna had a passion for caring for her pet birds, cooking delightful meals, and dancing to her favorite tunes.
Donna is preceded in death by her ex-husband, Donald E. Grubb; her beloved daughter, Diane E. Grubb; her parents, Klemens and Sophia Yaskowitz; and her siblings, Gladys DeBall, Helen Sherlock, Wanda Hubman, Mary Jane Coniglia, Esther Dunlap, Dolly Knee, Henry, Edward, Robert, Clem, and an infant brother.
She leaves behind her loving sons, Dan E. Grubb (Jackie) and David E. Grubb (Rachel), who will forever cherish her memory. She is also survived by her grandsons, Jordan Grubb and Dylan Grubb.
