Inez Jones, 92, of Charles City, Va, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday December 20,2025.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Robert; her mother, Louella Adkins; and two brothers, William Adkins, and Prince Adkins.
She is survived by four daughters, Ruby Canada (Darrell), Jane Stewart (Randall), Elva “Vi” Burton (Linwood), and Robin Adkins (David); beloved grandchildren, Mandi, Chad, Tabitha, Bobby, Amber, Felicia, James, and Marcus; great grandchildren, Sa’Rae, Landyn, McKynlee, Raven, Dashaun, Graysin, Mila, Llegend, Xy’heir, Malani, Michael, Na’zia, and Mya; one sister, Joan Beane (Joe); devoted friends, Paulette Bradby and Louise Sharpe, and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Inez was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She had a big heart full of love and enjoyed feeding anyone who stopped by for a visit. When asked how she was doing, her response would be “fine and dandy, sweet as candy”.
The family would like to thank the staff of Riverview on the Appomattox Health and Rehab Center and Trinity Hospice for the excellent care of their mother.
