Alan W. “Evil” Horsley, 61, of Shacklefords, VA passed away December 1, 2025.
He retired from VDOT after many years of service. Alan loved spending free time with his family, especially his grandkids. He was funny and loved having a good time.
Alan was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Lena Horsley; brother, Larry Horsley; and loving dog, Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Horsley; daughter, Amber Horsley (Tyler); son, Bryant Horsley; four grandchildren, Cayden Horsley, Brian and Ryleigh Asbury and Zoey Balsley; a sister, Debby Wyatt (Roger); brother, Daryl Horsley (Debbie); and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Alan’s life will be held at a later date.
