Robert “Robbie” Eugene Hicks of, James City County VA, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025, after a 4-year journey with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
Robbie was born on July 23, 1957, to Neale E. Hicks and Shirley M. Temple and was raised and lived most of his life in Lanexa, VA. Robbie was preceded in death by his father Neale E. Hicks, and his mother, Shirley T. Hicks. Robbie was survived by his daughter, Angela K. Ice, son-in-law Benjamin S. Ice, and two granddaughters, Leia L. Ice and Ava D. Ice; Sister, Joanie D. Damon; his aunt, Dorothy Jordan, along with several nieces and nephew.
Robbie wasn’t an idle man. He would always find something to keep busy. If he wasn’t painting at someone’s house, you might catch him at a car show, see him on the river crusin’, or at a beach having fun. On any given day he would be out visiting family members and friends. Robbie knew everyone. Driving through “East LA” as he would call it, he would throw his hand out the window or point at you with a big smile on his face. His smiling face will be missed by many.
