Dorothy “Dot” King passed away on the morning of Thursday, August 21, 2025.
She lived her life surrounded by a close-knit circle of family and friends who cherished her deeply. Dot’s high school sweetheart, Walt, shared an amazing life with her for 56 years; the love they shared exemplified the enduring affection she valued so highly.
Mama Dot leaves a legacy in her three beloved children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy, and she dedicated her life to nurturing those relationships.
