Mother and friend, Jan Martin, 85, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
She is survived by her son, Rich Martin, daughter-in-law, Susie Martin; and her daughters, Wanda (Martin) Scofield, and Sheila (Martin) Mulanix. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Martin whom she referred to as “My Darling.”
Jan was a devoted mother, wife, Sunday school teacher, and employee who always put others before herself.
Her last employment, before retiring, was with the city of Benton, TN where she gained many friends and fond memories. She was also a pastor’s wife and church pianist who enjoyed telling others about the love of Christ.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
