Jeremy Michael Harris, 38, of Newport News, Virginia, passed away on August 8, 2025.
He was born on June 12, 1987, in Chesapeake, Virginia.
He is survived by his father Michael Harris, his son Wesley Harris, his brother Jonathan Harris, his sister Lauren Harris Grizzle and her husband Joshua, as well as three uncles, four aunts, and four cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Kathy Harris. Jeremy was the eldest of the three children.
Jeremy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Accounting from the College of William & Mary, where he played on the soccer team for 4 years. One of his notable professional achievements was passing all four sections of the CPA exam on his first attempt.
He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially golfing and hunting. Jeremy’s athletic ability was always evident. Most importantly, his humble nature and natural talent was something others recognized and it commanded their respect.
