Felicitas S. Dizon, born on March 2, 1948, in the Philippines, gracefully completed her journey on this earth at the age of 77 on June 8, 2025, in Portsmouth, Virginia. With a life filled with love and dedication, she left a profound mark on all who were fortunate to know her.
Felicitas graduated with an Associate’s degree from Holy Angel University in Angeles City, Philippines — a testament to her commitment to education and personal growth. She later brought her talents and work ethic to M&G Electronics, where she diligently contributed as an Assembler, touching the lives of many colleagues through her hard work and kindness.
A devoted member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church since 2000, Felicitas lived a life of faith and compassion. She was an active member of her community, and her nurturing spirit extended well beyond her immediate surroundings. Known for her warmth, she often sent care packages to her loved ones in the Philippines, ensuring that miles could not diminish the bonds of family.
Her interests reflected her generous heart and zest for life. She found joy in playing bingo, cooking passionately, tending to her verdant vegetable garden, and cherishing cherished moments with her family. Her home was often filled with laughter and the delicious aromas stemming from her kitchen, which became a gathering place for all.
Felicitas is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Dr. Felix Dizon and Primetiva Dizon (née Santos). She carries forward her legacy through her surviving family: her devoted daughter AnaRiza and her husband Shelby; her cherished grandchildren Merkalus and Noah; her loving brother Bartolome; and the multitude of friends she cultivated in Virginia Beach. Her extended family in the Philippines also feels the depth of her loss.
Her loving, kind, and hardworking spirit will be missed by all those fortunate enough to have been touched by her grace. As we remember her life, let us be inspired by the way she lived—full of love, kindness, and an unwavering strength that uplifted everyone around her.
