Constance Y. Chisman-Danvers went to be with the Lord in paradise on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Constance was born to the late Percy and Alice Chisman on November 10, 1955, in York County, Virginia.
She was educated in the York County Public School System. While in high school, she worked at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia. She was later employed with Northrop Grumman from 1982 through 2018, when she retired.
Constance was a strong, kindhearted person. She loved to laugh and enjoy life. She enjoyed time at the beach with her grandchildren and friends, and visiting her sister-in-law, Emma L. Chisman, whenever she had time to sit back and reminisce about the old times.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Alice Chisman; brothers, Robert S. Chisman, Lennard P. Chisman, and Vernie H. Chisman; sister Joyce Chisman; and her grandmother.
Connie leaves to cherish fond memories, the love of her life Dennis Danvers; two sons, Andre Danvers and Anthony Danvers; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; sister Virginia L. Pierce of Hampton, Va; brother Percy L. Chisman of Newport News, VA; mother-in-law Tatlyn Danvers; four sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces and nephews.
