Frederick Louis Weinerth, affectionately known as Fred, embarked on his final flight on May 1, 2025, departing from his beloved home in Virginia Beach at the age of 70.
Born on June 8, 1954, in Staunton, VA, Fred embraced a life full of adventure and love, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of kindness that will forever be remembered.
Throughout his life, Fred wore many hats – pilot, mechanic, truck driver and school bus driver. Each role showcased his diverse talents and dedication, but above all, it was his joyful spirit and strength that left a lasting impact on those around him. Whether soaring through the skies or ensuring children arrived safely at school, Fred’s infectious happiness brightened the lives of many.
Fred’s life was full of adventure, warmth and generosity. His legacy of kindness, strength, and joy will surely continue through those who loved him.
His greatest journey was shared with his beloved wife, Robin “Bobbi” McIntire-Weinerth, who was his stood beside him through all of life’s adventures. Fred was a proud father to his daughter, Jamie Bialas, and his son Devin Weinerth (Teresa), who carries forward his values and love. As a brother, he shared a special bond with Mary Jo Bartlett, Dennis Wessier and Micheal Schiffner (Jhee).
Fred was preceded in death by his parents Stuart L. and Nancy Weinerth, and Jeanette Wessier Fuhrer.
Fred’s family will hold a private service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Cancer Association in his honor.
