Jackie Eugene Brewer, a beloved father, grandfather and brother, loyal friend, and proud veteran, passed away peacefully on March 11th, 2025.

He was born on August 10th, 1956, in Middletown, Ohio, to Eugene and Josie Brewer Bottroff (both deceased).

Jack dedicated much of his life to serving his country, enlisting in the United States Navy where he proudly served with honor and distinction. A Gulf War veteran, Jack was part of a helicopter squad, courageously supporting operations during a pivotal time in our nations history. After many years of faithful service, he proudly retired from the Navy, carrying with him the deep bonds of brotherhood and a legacy of commitment.

Jack led a humble and meaningful life. He found joy in the simple things-relaxing with a good television show and spending time with his loyal dog, Pepper, who was always by his side. He loved to play jokes on people. He had a huge heart and tried to assist anyone in need.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, 2 granddaughters, , 3 sisters, Pamela Brewer Edwards (Art), Lynette and Caroline Bottroff, along with nieces, nephews, and many other family members and lifelong friends. Jackie’s memory will live on in the stories shared, the lives he touched, and the unwavering pride he brought to those who knew him.

The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the American Stroke Association in Virginia Beach in honor of Jackie’s courageous battle with multiple strokes.

He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
