Gardenia Saunders, a cherished resident of Chesapeake, Virginia, passed away peacefully in her home on March 31, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on February 12, 1942, in West Virginia, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ruth Singletary.
Throughout her life, Gardenia was known for her kindness and gentle spirit. Though she did not seek accolades or recognition, she touched the lives of those around her with her quiet strength and warmth.
Gardenia is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Singletary. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
At this time, no services are scheduled to take place in her honor.
