Florence Ann Grabowski, 85, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025. Born on January 13, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois, she was the beloved daughter of the late Edward and Julia Frank.
Florence was a devoted wife to her late husband, Francis, with whom she shared a love for traveling and making cherished memories together. She found joy in watching the birds and tending to her garden. A hardworking and resilient woman, Florence served as a phone operator in civil service.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, son Francis Anthony Grabowski and his wife Beth, and daughter Julie Brown; her cherished grandchildren, Lauren Hord and her husband Kyle, Dana Grabowski and her fiancé David, and LeeAnn Brown; and her adored great-grandchildren, Bennett and Hayden Hord. Her loving family who will continue to honor her legacy and keep her spirit alive.
Florence’s kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A graveside service will be held at 11am on April 21, 2025 at Albert G Horton Jr Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
