VIRGINIA BEACH — Charles Raymond Krafchik, a devoted family man and proud patriot, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2025, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Born on June 11, 1939, in Pennsylvania, Charles lived a full and meaningful life of 85 years.
Charles dedicated much of his career as a Fleet Service Agent in the aviation industry, where his hard work and commitment to excellence touched the lives of many colleagues and passengers alike. His dedication was a testament to his unwavering work ethic and passion for service.
A true patriot, Charles served his country with pride in the United States Army for three years. His love for his country was matched only by his love for his family, which was the cornerstone of his life. He cherished every moment spent with his children, Diane, Jennifer, and Stephen, who survive him and carry forward his legacy of strength, kindness, and integrity.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lorraine, and his parents, Charles and Johanna Krafchik, Charles leaves behind a family that will forever be inspired by his example of unwavering love and compassion.
Charles’s final resting place will be alongside his cherished wife at Albert G. Horton Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, Virginia, where he will be laid to rest with the honor and dignity befitting a man of his character.
While he may no longer walk among us, Charles Raymond Krafchik’s spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. His life serves as a reminder of the importance of family, service, and dedication to one’s principles.
