Quinncilla Zena Jenkins, 90 years of age was born in Bluefield, Va to Quinn and Catherine Robinson. She entered the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 8th with family by her side.
Quinncilla was educated at Graham Colored High School, in Bluefield Va. After graduating, she relocated to New York and worked at Ideal Toy Factory for a short stint, after which she dedicated her life to raising her family. She became a member of Community Baptist Church, faithfully serving on various committees.
She retired to Chesapeake VA., where she served faithfully at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (now Tabernacle Worship Center) . She served on the missionary board, the Golden Age Auxiliary and attended Intercession prayer three times a week.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Donald Eugene Jenkins, Sr., Mother, Father and two brothers. She leaves to cherish the lovely memories of her sister Gaynell Adams, Orlando, FL, sons Donald E. (Vilma) Jenkins Jr., Bronx NY, Troy (Joyce) Jenkins, Bluefield WVA. Daughters Kathy Murrell, Chesapeake, VA., Janice Jenkins, Paula Jenkins and Sonya Jenkins (Derrick McCoy), of Jamaica, NY, Dawn Jenkins, Fresh Meadows, NY. Fourteen grandchildren, Thirty great grandchildren and one great great grand child. A host of nieces, nephews neighbors and friends.
