With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kristen Post, who left this world far too soon on January 30, 2025, at the age of 38.
Born and raised in Virginia, Kristen attended Ruffner High School before earning her PCA license and dedicating her career to caring for others as a private caregiver in the medical field. Her heart was as big as her personality—spunky, beautiful, full of attitude, and overflowing with love.
Above all, Kristen was a devoted mother to her three children, Kayleigh, Mason, and William. They were the center of her world, and she filled their lives with love, laughter, and endless cuddles. Whether she was shopping, decorating, or making sure her home was sparkling clean, Kristen had a special way of bringing beauty and warmth to everything around her. She had a deep love for makeup, music—especially R&B and hip-hop—and making memories with her countless friends who will forever cherish the good times they shared.
Kristen is preceded in death by her father, Leonard Provato. She leaves behind a family who loved her dearly: her sweet mother, Amy (Kenneth Pugh) Post; her siblings, Joshua, Jovan, Cisco, Courtney, and Macey; her Great Aunt Kathy Quinn; her aunts Lorene and Katrina; Naomi Cuthrell and Honey Pugh; her nieces and nephew, Alyah, Nicky, and Hayleigh; and an extended family of dear friends who will always remember her as the funny, loving, and vibrant soul she was.
Kristen’s passing leaves an irreplaceable void, but her love, energy, and beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her family and friends will honor her life with a celebration that reflects the joy and light she brought into the world.
