Paul Stephen Salvione passed away on January 18th, 2025, in Williamsburg, VA at the age of 76.
He was born on September 19th, 1948, in Gloversville, NY.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen Willis Salvione, his son, Michael Willis Salvione (Elizabeth), his daughter Elizabeth Ann MacLean and two grandchildren, Jack Wheeler MacLean and Valerie Ella Salvione.
He is predeceased by his brothers, Michael and Joe, and his sister Jeanne, and survived by his sister Carole, and brother Alan.
Paul had a long and successful career as a teacher, school district administrator and a national consultant in Effective Schools and School Improvement. He retired to Williamsburg, VA in 2003, was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and worked in a variety of volunteer positions in the Ford’s Colony community.
He enjoyed golfing, his men’s history book group, his men’s discussion group and extensive travel. He loved summers on Great Pond in Belgrade Lakes, Maine for over 35 years. He loved his family and lived his life to the fullest.
He will be dearly missed.
The family would like to thank Paul’s many doctors and nurses who cared for him with compassion during his illness.
Paul’s free and final advice to all his friends and family is to try to live in the moment and not get lost in the past or future. He wishes you all the best and thanks you for your love and friendship.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at a future date with family and friends.
