Timothy G. “Burk” Birckbichler, aged 79, of Norfolk, VA passed away on December 28, 2024, in Norfolk, VA. Born on January 26, 1945, in Butler, PA, Timothy led a life marked by dedication and service.
Burk honorably served his country in the United States Navy, dedicating 24 years to his military career.
A baptized member of the Norview Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Burk was a man of faith whose spiritual beliefs were central to his life.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Gloria Birckbichler. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Layden, her husband, Mike, and his cherished grandson, Parker. His legacy will continue through them and the many lives he touched.
Burk was preceded in death by his son, Raymond, and daughter, Rosemary, whom he now joins in eternal rest.
A celebration of Burk’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and the impact he had on their lives.
