Vivian Passerin Allemang, born on November 23, 1933 in Abington, Pennsylvania, she passed away a week after Thanksgiving on Thursday December 5, 2024 and left a legacy of love and devotion that will forever be cherished. She was a dedicated homemaker proudly embracing the role of “Mom” with grace and warmth.

Throughout her life, Vivian found joy in the simple pleasures, cultivating a deep love for classical music, literature, and her faith as a dedicated Presbyterian. Her greatest happiness stemmed from her family, whom she treasured above all else. Every summer, she delighted in gathering her loved ones for yearly trips to Ocean City, New Jersey, and every Thanksgiving, she lovingly brought her family together up north.

Vivian’s story is one intertwined with a great love story, as she met her beloved husband during her senior year of high school at the age of 16. Their meeting at a USO Dance at Willow Grove Air Station sparked a romance that led to an engagement at Christmas and a beautiful summer wedding. As a devoted Navy Wife for 20 years, Vivian stood steadfast by her husband’s side anchoring their family in Horsham, Pennsylvania while he served his country.

Vivian is survived by her two sons, John David Allemang, Jr., and Mark David Anthony Allemang, her daughter Sherrie Allemang Black, and her four grandsons – Christian, Alex, Ken with his wife Kat, and Steve with his wife Dee.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, John D. Allemang, Sr., and her parents, Frank Passerin and Mary DiLoretto Passerin.

Services for Vivian will be held as she is laid to rest alongside her husband at Arlington National Cemetery, a fitting tribute to a life marked by love, family, and unwavering dedication. The time and date for the service is still to be determined.

Vivian’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her, her spirit forever shining bright as a beacon of love and perseverance.
