Diane Renee Voorhees, 58, of Virginia Beach, passed away in her home in October 2024. Born in Slippery Rock, PA, Diane has been reunited with her father, Alan W. Voorhees, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Shields, and her daughter, Kaye-Loni Johnston. A passionate lover of the arts, Diane had a particular fondness for the arts, cats, and all things spooky, especially Michael Myers. Her recent trip to Salem, MA, was a highlight for her.
Diane enjoyed immersing herself in the works of Stephen King, cheering on her grandchildren at their sporting events, and hosting delightful brunches for family and friends. Her legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A celebration of her life will be held in her honor, with details to be shared with close friends and family. Diane will be remembered with love and missed by all.
