Carmen Edith Troche, 52, passed away in her home in Virginia Beach, Virginia on July 8th, 2024.
She was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, the daughter of Carmen and Gumercindo Soler.
She is survived by her children Deborah, Luis, Justin and Jeremy, her siblings Paul, Angel, and Joseph, and in the hearts of many who knew and loved her.
Carmen was a beautiful soul and a loving mother. She enjoyed a nice book, the company of her children and dog, and a glass of wine. She was peaceful and exceptionally kind, with a laugh that made those lucky enough to hear it feel at home. Her intelligence, her ambition, and her strength were truly admirable. She will be deeply missed.
She was a faithful Christian who devoted her life to worship. Blessed with a voice that made you feel whole, she sang beautifully for her church and in her home. A lifelong student of the Bible, she shared her wisdom through action: loving her neighbors, fostering peace in her life and family, and being pure of heart. The world is left better for having her in it.
