Pat Davidson passed away peacefully in her home on June 11, 2024 with her loving family and yorkie “Chewie” by her side.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Bernon “Budgy” Cedric Davidson Jr. of Norfolk, VA and her children, Bernon “Keith” Davidson (Diana), Royce “Butch” Davidson, and Paula Davidson, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pat was very active in the community and leaves behind an extended family of friends from United Christ Methodist Church, Bayview Civic League, T.G.O.V., and Big Bands on the Bay. Pat loved to volunteer in the community, cook, and share stories about her children, grandchildren, boat trips on the “Love Is”, and her travel home adventures.
She traveled south in the winter and made several friends and memories at Lazy J’s in Fort Myers, FL. When in town, she loved to have “The Dicey Divas” over every week for games and was dedicated to seeing her “Curve” ladies for lunch every month. We will no longer have her with us on the hills at OV or waving to the neighborhood from her porch, but she will always be in our hearts.
Our family would like to thank everyone for their support including her friends and the staff at Sentara Leigh Hospital and Amedysis hospice team.
To honor Pat’s wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
