Beverly Ann Boyer, a beacon of love, faith, and relentless passion, passed away on June 11, 2024, at Riverside Hospital in Newport News, Virginia, at the age of 79. Born on September 5, 1944, in New York City, New York, Beverly’s life was a testament to dedication, kindness, and the joy of living fully.
Throughout her career, Beverly excelled in every endeavor she undertook. As a Manager and Senior Loan Officer for ABNB Federal Credit Union, she demonstrated unparalleled commitment and integrity. As a distributor for Shaklee products and a loyal patron of TJ Morgan’s Wellness Center, she championed the cause of holistic living, influencing countless lives with her advocacy for wellness and health.
Beverly’s deep-rooted faith was the cornerstone of her life. A devout Catholic, she dedicated her time to teaching CCD at the Little Creek Chapel, nurturing young minds and hearts. Her culinary talents were legendary among family and friends; she found immense joy in crafting culinary masterpieces with ingredients sourced during her cherished trips to her favorite shopping destinations such as Wegman’s and Whole Foods grocers. Beverly’s kitchen was not just a place for cooking but a haven where love was expressed through each carefully prepared dish.
Her love for cooking extended to her passion for watching the Cooking Network, and she never missed an episode of “Everybody Loves Raymond,” “Big Bang Theory,” or “General Hospital.” Beverly was also an ardent fan of Elvis Presley and James Dean, finding inspiration and solace in their timeless artistry.
Beverly was an esteemed member of St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, the Red Hat Society, and Toastmasters, where she made lasting friendships and shared her infectious spirit. She touched innumerable lives with her warmth and generosity, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.
She is survived by her devoted husband, William; her beloved children, Billy and Michelle; her loving brother, Carmen and dear sister, Shawna; her cherished grandchildren’s family, James, Katie, Danielle and their wonderful mother Vickie; her precious cousin Jenny (& Shannon) and their adorable children Graysen, Gavin, and Jadan, her godson Earl (& Maryann) and his children Thomas and Lauren; treasured caregiver Stephanie, along with numerous other family members and esteemed friends.
Beverly Ann Boyer touched many lives with her unwavering faith, boundless love, and remarkable spirit. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered by those fortunate enough to have known her.
