Mr. Johnnie M. Speller departed his life on Monday, June 10, 2024. He was loved by his family and friends.
He was born on September 25, 1961, in Portsmouth, Va. and was the first of three children born to his mother, the late Sybelene S. Carter.
Johnnie was an outgoing and loving father. He loved the outdoors and had a caring heart for his family until his final days.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Sybelene Carter in 2021 and his sister Jacqueline Speller in 1992. He is survived by his brother, Thaddeus Speller and his sister-in-law Mia Speller and his daughter Jameca Canty, his grandchildren Tonai Canty and Mustafaa White Jr. along with five great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
