Celebration Of Life: At A Later Date
Kimberly (Kim) R. Kilvington, 66, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024 at the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville, Virginia. She was born in New Jersey and had been a long-time Peninsula resident.
In her earlier years she worked in the Hospitality Industry. She was a member of Waters Edge Church in York County. Kim will be affectionately remembered for her passion for playing Bingo. Through her on-line playing she developed many friendships with other players from the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, and many other countries as well. She was a member of the Elite Diamond Daubers. Kim always believed in living hard and loving hard. She enjoyed horseback riding and especially her beloved dog, Roscoe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth (Coach) Kilvington, and Audrey J. Kilvington. She is survived by her fiance’, James (Jimmy) Stirling of Newport News; son, Kyle R. Kilvington of Oklahoma; sister, Vickey Joiner and husband John of Georgia; and a host of extended family and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are by Weymouth Funeral Home.
