Diana Mae Hilliker, born on December 12, 1947, in the charming town of Greenville, MI, passed away on May 5, 2024, in the coastal haven of Virginia Beach, VA, at the age of 76.
Diana was a homemaker extraordinaire who crafted a life as rich as her beloved creations. With a flair for the gifted and the handmade, she could turn a piece of yarn into a masterpiece and a simple afternoon into an unforgettable memory. Her home was a sanctuary not just for family and friends, but also for any animal fortunate enough to cross her path.
Preceded in death by her father, mother, brother, and sister, Diana is survived by her former husband and devoted caregiver, Francis Hilliker. Though their marital journey took different paths, their bond remained unbroken and full of mutual respect and care.
Diana will be laid to rest in her hometown of Greenville, MI, where she first spun the threads of her extraordinary life. In honor of her love for crafting, may we all find a little extra beauty in the handmade and cherish the cozy comforts of home.
