Lonnie Lauer was born on March 31, 1951, and passed away on April 25, 2024.
Lonnie was born in the Bronx but spent most of his life in New Jersey. He spent the last 9 years residing in Quinton, VA. Lonnie was an avid fan of the New York Giants and Yankees.
He shared his love of sports with his daughters. You could always catch him at their games when they were growing up. March Madness became an important time of the year for the family to get together to root for upsets and for Duke to win.
Lonnie was a passionate fan of movies and music.
After 27 years of working for Bell Atlantic Mobile, Lonnie “retired” and found his fit becoming an entrepreneur.
Lonnie is survived by his Wife of 49 years, Cheryl Kisner Lauer. Daughter Ali Smith (Keith Smith), Daughter Stacey Bahleda (Jim Bahleda) Grandkids Carter Smith, Audrey Smith, Emma Peterson. Sister Nadine Lauer.
Preceded in death by Father Jack Lauer and Mother Rae Rochman Lauer.
