E. Montgomery “Monty” Thomson was born in St. Joseph, MO to Robert Havland and Elizabeth Montgomery Thomson on March 24, 1945.
He went to St. Christopher’s, Virginia Beach High School, Louisburg College, and New York University.
He was a commercial realtor for most of his career. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Monty is preceded in death by his son, E.M. “Jay” Thomson Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Carol White Thomson, daughter Elissa Thomson White and her husband A. Hardin “Trey” White III, and their daughters Katherine M. White and Grayson E. White; his two brothers Robert “Tommy” Thomson Jr. and Richard R. Thomson, and his nephews Robert H. “Bobby” Thomson III, and Dalton Thomson.
A Funeral Service will be held at Galilee Church, Friday, December 1 at 11 a.m. with reception to follow.
