Tammy M. Parsons, 53, of Williamsburg, Virginia, passed away suddenly in a tragic car accident on Sunday, October 1, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Major and Margarete Tyrone; nephew, CJ Lyon; and her granddaughter, Kennedy Staines.
Tammy is survived by her fiancé, Joseph Palumbo; daughters, Krista LaBenz, Skylar Parsons, and Sarah Parsons; son, Shawn Palumbo; grandchildren, Julian Taglienti, Giavanna Taglienti, Ryan Staines, and Adriana Palumbo; sister, Sandy Esterman (Allen); niece, Brittany Tedder (Brandon); best friend, Diane Pietrzak; and a host of other family members and friends.
Tammy was born on June 24, 1970 and grew up in New Kent County. She spent most of her adult life in Pennsylvania but recently moved back to Williamsburg. She was the backbone to her family; her children and grandchildren were her biggest accomplishment and greatest joy in life. Tammy would light up any room that she walked into and would often make people laugh with her sense of humor. Most of Tammy’s friends and family would describe her as a selfless, kind-hearted, and courageous woman with the biggest heart who would always put others before herself.
