Theresa Marie Lopez, 88, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 1, 2023. Theresa was born in Malden, Massachusetts to the late Joseph and Isolema Neri on October 15, 1934.
Theresa was loved by her family and close neighbors and will be deeply missed. She loved her life as a homemaker. But once her children were grown Theresa spent many years as a City of Norfolk school bus driver for special education children.
Other than her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her beloved husband Teodoro G. Lopez and brother, Joseph Neri, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Gary A. Lopez & wife Stephanie and Linda A. Lopez; grandchildren, Rebecca Joy Barr & husband Zach, David Allen Lopez, Daniel Allen Lopez, and Rachel Marie Lopez; great-grandchildren, Nathanial Barr, Robert Barr, Peter Barnes and Vladimir Chappell.
Theresa did not wish to have a formal service. But should you wish to honor her memory please turn to your family and friends with a smile, kind words, and a hug.
