Catherine Jean Brown, 88, of Shacklefords, VA passed away from this life on September 23, 2023.
Jean was born to the late Richard and Alice Carter, and was wife of the late Gerald Brown.
Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Charlie Carter, Harding Carter, Dorothy Marshall and Marjorie Smith. Jean is survived by her son, Randy Brown; daughter, Darlene Seeley (Rick); granddaughter, Crystal Palenski; great-grandchildren, Carter and Kallie; and great-great-granddaughter, Realynn; along with many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 2 to 6 p.m., Saturday, September 30 at 185 Airville Rd., Shacklefords, VA 23156. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice, or Lower King and Queen Rescue Squad.
