Misti Dame Helmstetter, 43, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023. She leaves behind cherished memories in the hearts of her loved ones.
Misti was preceded in death by her husband and soulmate, Timothy Helmstetter. We know they are in each other’s arms. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Lilly Grace, whom she may finally hold; father, Floyd Overton Jr.; grandfather, Floyd Overton, and grandmother, Mary Overton.
Misti is survived by her children, Alexis Craft and Devin Dame, who brought immense joy to her life. She was a loving mother who treasured every moment with them. Her loving parents, Donna Williams and Don Williams; her siblings, Stacie Brockman, Shawnette Kuchta (spouse, Tim), Nick Williams (spouse, Emily), Chris Williams (spouse, Katina) and Christy Brown (spouse, Mark); her grandparents, Earl Broughfman (spouse, Jeanie) and Mary Surber (spouse, Terry); her stepsons, Ayden, Rylee, and Ezekyel; numerous nieces and nephews and several special friends that she considered family.
Misti was a social butterfly and will be remembered for her kindness and infectious laughter, as well as her deep love for her friends and family. She touched the lives of many.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Misti’s life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2023. Please contact family for address and further information. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to The Peninsula ASPCA, a cause close to her heart.
Though Misti’s absence leaves a void, her memory will continue to shine brightly.
