Willie S. Proctor, 87, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023.
She was born in Cleveland County, NC, and was a resident of Newport News, VA for over 60 years. As well as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Willie retired from Newport News Shipbuilding after 22 years as a pipefitter. One of her favorite things was spending time and going on adventures with her grandchildren and then her great-grandchildren, when they came along. After a short battle with cancer, Willie has left us peacefully.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers; her daughter, Roxanne and her son-in-law, Tommy. She leaves behind to cherish her memory 3 daughters, Becky, Ronda and Cathy; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. Willie was everyone’s Mangaw. She was one of a kind and will be deeply missed.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Peninsula Memorial Park
