Heather Renee Joyner, 35, was called home to be with the Lord on May 15th, 2023.
Heather was brought into this world by her loving mother, Christine Renee Means, and father, Charles Matthew York. She was raised in Virginia Beach and later graduated from Deep Creek High School in Chesapeake. Although, home for her was always in Virginia Beach which is where she resided with her significant other and father of her child, Kevin Moody, and her two children Tessa Joyner and Brayden Moody. She was a mother, daughter, and friend who held a fierce love for everyone she knew.
Her precious memory will be carried on by her beloved family: her beautiful children, Tessa Joyner, and Brayden Moody; her mother and bonus father, Christine and Ronald Means, with her siblings, Nicole, Lauren, and Justin Means; her father, Charles York, his wife Diane, with her siblings Amanda, and Jared York; along with all those who were blessed to know her throughout her life.
Isaiah 40:31 – “…but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
Heather’s Celebration of Life service will be held at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5033 Rouse Drive, Virginia Beach on Friday, May 19, 2023 at noon.
