Rena H. Butt, 93, of Chesapeake, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
Born in North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Luther Edward Harris, Sr., and Lillie Mae Harris. She was also predeceased by two sons, William S. Butt and Terry L. Butt, Sr.; two brothers, Luther Edward Harris, Jr., and Troy Lee Harris. Rena retired from the Washington Post after 30 plus years of dedicated service.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Lee Harris and her husband James F. Harris; brother, Joseph C. Harris; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends.
